Description

A large carp with burnished scales swims horizontally through the composition, framed by delicate kelp fronds and decorative circular forms rendered in naturalistic detail. The piece employs a classical natural history illustration style, with warm earth tones, deep greens, and coral red accents contained within a double-lined border that suggests a centuries-old scientific study.
