Description
A solitary robed figure stands on a sandy shore, gazing toward a turbulent sea beneath a vast, brooding sky where dark clouds gather above pale, luminous areas. The composition uses a narrow band of beach anchoring the composition while the upper two-thirds dissolve into atmospheric gradations of gray, teal, and cream, creating a sense of infinite, melancholic vastness. At home in a contemplative study or a quiet, introspective space. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
