Description

A tilted black rectangular form floats against a white ground, its surface marked by a curved white line that suggests an open eye or questioning gaze. The composition is spare and geometric, with a triangular support element anchoring the composition, creating a sense of precarious balance and contemplative tension. Made to order from soft micro-twill and cut by hand, insert included. Real art for the spaces you actually use, not store-shelf filler.

Care

  • Tumble dry on low heat or air dry or lay flat to dry

About The Artist

Richard Vergez is a Cuban-American visual and sound artist. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, worked and lived in New York as member of the Brooklyn Collage Collective, and currently works and resides in South Florida. His background in graphic design and audio/visual collaboration is reflected through his hand-made collaged works on paper and mixed media. Imagery which combines both human and technological elements relates to ideas surrounding an ever-evolving modern dystopian identity.
