Description
Interlocking serpents with detailed scale patterns radiate outward from a pale gray-green ground, their bodies arranged in a symmetrical, mandala-like composition punctuated by small floral motifs. The work combines natural history illustration with ornamental artwork, rendered in silvery gray tones that give the snakes an almost metallic, celestial quality. Precision-cut from thick, satin-finish paperboard and made to order, in 500 or 1,000 pieces. An afternoon spent building an independent artist's work.
