A grid of ornamental vessels and vessels filled with repeating patterns of classic Chinese blue willow motifs in white against a deep navy background. The composition creates a rhythmic, almost textile-like effect through its orderly arrangement of teapots, vases, jars, and decorative containers, each rendered with intricate linework that evokes traditional porcelain artwork. Bound with 52 pages of 70lb paper, lined or unlined, behind an anti-scuff matte cover with wraparound artwork, made to order. Notes and sketches kept behind an independent artist's work, not a plain composition cover.

About The Artist

Hi, I'm Cecilia, a Sydney-based surface designer and artist with a background in fine arts. My work is inspired by the Golden Age of Illustration, ancient Chinese and Japanese textiles and historical European Chinoiserie, Mid-Century Modern, and contemporary Australian symbolic painters. I am drawn to themes of wonder, storytelling and the beauty of the natural world. I love to explore rich colour palettes, a sense of movement and flow, and decorative illustration.
