Description
An ornate elephant draped in a scarlet and gold ceremonial blanket stands at the center of this composition, its tusks framing an elaborate tree that bursts with delicate green foliage, red flowers, and perched birds rendered in an East-meets-South-Asia aesthetic. The soft mint ground and intricate layering of botanical and figurative elements create a dreamlike tableau that blends chinoiserie sensibility with Indian royal pageantry. At home in a eclectic gallery wall or a worldly collector's study. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
