A bright red cardinal perches among layered botanicals including evergreen sprigs, succulents, and muted pink and cream flowers arranged in a loose, naturalistic composition. Rendered in watercolor with fine botanical detail, the piece combines the warmth of the cardinal's crimson plumage against cool greens and neutral florals on a soft white ground.
