Description
A delicate botanical study renders two flowering plant specimens against a soft beige ground, their blue blossoms and green foliage rendered with scientific precision and hand-colored detail. Thin stems arch gracefully across the composition, accompanied by smaller anatomical sketches below that reveal the plant's structural components in the manner of 19th-century naturalist illustration. At home in a study, library, or space devoted to natural history and curiosity. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
