A dense grid of checker squares fills the composition in a riot of handmade colors ranging from coral red and forest green to dusty blue, warm gold, and soft pink. The alternating pattern creates a rhythmic, almost musical quality, with each square rendered in slightly muted tones that suggest watercolor or gouache applied with deliberate imprecision. At home in a creative studio, playful bedroom, or eclectic living space. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
