Description
A decorative urn overflows with an exuberant arrangement of dahlias, tulips, carnations, and smaller blooms rendered in warm reds, golds, and creams against a soft neutral ground. The composition displays the ornamental restraint and hand-colored precision of historical crewel work, with each flower and leaf defined by dark outlines and jewel-toned accents that suggest embroidery or early textile arts. At home in a traditional parlor or beside antique furnishings and leather-bound books. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
