A densely patterned traditional rug from the Caucasus region displays interlocking geometric medallions and star forms in deep navy, burnt orange, and cream across its field. Ornamental borders frame the composition in contrasting bands of color and pattern, creating a richly layered textile artwork with the warmth and complexity of historic weaving traditions. Crafted from bamboo and made to order, with a drilled hole so it hangs on the wall as easily as it works on the counter. A kitchen essential carrying an independent artist's work, not a blank block from the big-box aisle.
