Description
A richly patterned red peacock dominates the composition, its body filled with intricate white floral motifs and outlined in golden curves that radiate outward like feathers. The figure emerges from a warm terracotta ground layered with scrolling vines, smaller blossoms, and ornamental flourishes in deep browns, golds, and touches of cream, creating a densely decorated textile work rooted in Central Asian embroidery traditions. At home in a globally minded space or beside collections of textiles and cultural artifacts. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
