Description

A silver disco ball dominates the composition, its mirrored surface fragmented into hundreds of small squares that reflect and scatter colorful light across the sphere. The geometric tiles graduate from cool silvers and grays at the top to warm cream and pale yellow tones at the bottom, punctuated by pops of red, pink, cyan, and orange that suggest reflected stage lighting and movement. Crafted from durable canvas-like poly-poplin and made to order, double-stitched with a cotton webbing strap. The everyday haul, from groceries to the beach, carrying an independent artist's work.

About The Artist

I create paintings, drawings, and pigment transfers that explore memory, time, and change. Working from family photographs, found imagery, and fragments of popular culture, I erase, obscure, and reconstruct familiar images until they exist somewhere between recognition and disappearance. My work considers the traces we leave behind and the way memories shift over time.
