Description
Red, yellow, pink, and cream roses cluster densely across a dark almost-black ground, their petals rendered with painterly detail and soft shadow. The composition is tightly packed and frontal, evoking the ornamental flower studies of 17th-century Dutch still life painting, with warm blooms glowing against the cool darkness. At home in a moody dining room or a gallery wall moment. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
