Description
Three scientifically rendered butterflies are arranged vertically against a warm beige ground, each species rendered with precise detail and naturalistic coloring. The composition moves from a delicate blue Common Blue at top, through a striking Marbled White with bold black markings in the center, to a soft brown Meadow Brown at the base, evoking the observational tradition of natural history illustration. Precision-cut from thick, satin-finish paperboard and made to order, in 500 or 1,000 pieces. An afternoon spent building an independent artist's work.
