Description
A solitary house glows softly beneath a sprawling tree on the banks of the Minumagawa River, its warm window light contrasting with the deep indigo night sky scattered with fireflies. The composition draws the eye along the dark water's gentle curve, using masterful gradations of blue and black to evoke the quiet mystery of a summer evening in rural Japan. At home in a bedroom, study, or meditation space seeking nocturnal calm. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
