Description

A figure in patterned clothing sits surrounded by an explosion of oversized flowers in coral, orange, and red, set against a layered landscape of blue sky, green fields, and decorative botanical forms. The composition combines collage-like patchwork, folk art sensibilities, and richly saturated colors to create a dreamlike scene that feels both whimsical and deeply rooted in nature. For a creative studio or a bedroom that celebrates cultural heritage and natural wonder. Woven from textured polyester yarn with a frayed edge and made to order, it ships with a wooden dowel and cotton cord so it hooks onto the wall in one step. Original artwork with a soft, bohemian texture a flat print can't give a room.

About The Artist

Lara Meintjes is a South African illustrator, happily living in Oakland, California while she is working towards a PhD at UC Berkeley. She is particularly interested in color and is delighted by the millions of sneaky tigers she has included in her paintings over the years. She can usually be found drinking tea and occasionally, completely accidentally, paint water. She wishes she smoked a pipe.
