Towering evergreen trees rise densely through a shadowed woodland, their dark trunks anchoring a composition filled with layered greens and deep shadows that recede into misty distance. The undergrowth of ferns and forest floor vegetation creates a rich textural foreground, while shafts of filtered light pierce through the canopy to suggest depth and an almost cathedral-like stillness.
