Description
A delicate fringed gentian rises from a cream ground, its slender stem crowned with clustered purple-blue flowers edged in fine detail, their petals rendered with botanical precision. The composition captures the flower's graceful architecture through careful watercolor work, with touches of deep burgundy at the stem and soft green leaves grounding the study. At home in a naturalist's study or a room that celebrates the precision of the natural world. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
