A classic gingham pattern alternates between cream and warm beige squares in a regular grid formation, creating a timeless woven textile aesthetic. The soft, muted palette and orderly repetition evoke the comforting simplicity of traditional checkered cloth, rendered with clean, geometric precision. At home in a farmhouse kitchen, cottage dining room, or cozy breakfast nook. Woven from soft polyester chenille with a non-slip backing and made to order, the artwork running across the surface. Alisa is a self-taught Ukrainian artist living in Spain. She finds inspiration in nature (especially plants), textiles, and interior spaces. Passionate about experimenting, she enjoys exploring mixed media techniques, combining different materials to create unique textures. Her creative process is often highly intuitive, adding a sense of spontaneity and freshness to her work. In recent years, Alisa has developed a strong passion for collages and linocuts.
