A fan of gracefully curved green leaves radiates outward against a warm golden ground, each blade rendered in the flat, organic forms characteristic of paper cutout work. Bold white capitals spelling "MATISSE" anchor the top of the composition, while small institutional text grounds the piece, creating a balanced study in simplified botanical abstraction and warm modernist color.
