Description

An antique world map rendered in two hemispheres dominates this composition, its continents and oceans rendered in warm ochres, terracottas, and creams against a cream ground. Ornamental cartouches frame the top and bottom with baroque flourishes and celestial imagery, while decorative wind heads and maritime details populate the borders, creating a richly detailed window into Renaissance-era cartography. Printed on a large polyester top with a non-slip rubber backing and made to order, room enough for keyboard and mouse. A workspace anchored by an independent artist's work instead of bare particleboard.
