Description
A dense pattern of irregular polygonal shapes in varying shades of gray mimics the wrinkled, weathered texture of elephant skin. The interlocking forms create a rhythmic, almost tessellated surface that conveys the tactile roughness and aged complexity of the animal's hide. In a natural history space or wildlife enthusiast's study. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
