Description
Two great blue herons face each other in an elegant watercolor composition, their long necks extended and dark blue plumage rendered with delicate brushwork against a soft, clouded sky. Muted earth tones and pale blues dominate the palette, while touches of green foliage at the base ground the birds in their natural wetland habitat, creating a serene moment of avian connection. At home in a naturalist's study or a peaceful lakeside retreat. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
