Description
A great blue heron stands in profile against a cream background, its long neck curved in an elegant S-shape and its dark plumage rendered in deep blacks and slate grays with touches of rust-orange along the breast. Delicate marsh grasses in muted greens anchor the composition at the base, creating a naturalistic habitat that grounds the bird's poised, contemplative stance. At home in a naturalist's study or a serene lakeside retreat. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
