Description
A solitary pear tree anchors the lower portion of this composition, its trunk and branches rendered in naturalistic browns and greens while the foliage above explodes into a shimmering canopy of densely layered blues, yellows, greens, and touches of red and orange. The brushwork becomes increasingly abstract and decorative toward the top, creating a hypnotic, almost musical quality that celebrates the tree's organic abundance against a luminous grass ground below. Precision-cut from thick, satin-finish paperboard and made to order, in 500 or 1,000 pieces. An afternoon spent building an independent artist's work.
