A plump mouse with oversized pink ears gazes directly outward, draped in an ornate blue and gold brocade garment richly patterned with geometric motifs and jeweled details. The composition centers the creature against a warm golden background scattered with circular ornaments and swirling artworks, evoking the decorative opulence and flattened perspective of early twentieth-century Symbolist painting.
