Hundreds of golden and amber circles densely populate a warm rust-brown ground, their overlapping forms creating a shimmering, jeweled surface that seems to pulse with movement. The circles vary in size and tone, from pale yellow to deep orange and burgundy, arranged in an organic rhythm that recalls both nature's patterns and the ornamental excess of fin-de-siècle decorative arts. At home in a gallery space or above a mantelpiece where it invites extended contemplation. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
