Description
A medieval allegory of mortality unfolds across a dark ground, with skeletal Death figures interrupting scenes of human life arranged in oval medallions around a central gathering. Rendered in muted golds, blacks, and flesh tones with meticulous detail, the composition presents a haunting visual sermon on the inevitability of death across all social classes and stations. At home in a study, library, or space for contemplative reflection on life's deeper themes. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
