Description
A densely patterned Persian carpet from the Heriz region displays a rich red ground layered with intricate geometric and floral motifs in gold, blue, and jewel tones, anchored by a bold central medallion that radiates outward across the composition. The ornate border frames the field in complementary colors, creating a rhythmic, symmetrical artwork that exemplifies the masterful weaving tradition of Azerbaijan's Northwest. At home in a gallery wall, a traditional study, or a room celebrating cultural textile heritage. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
