Description
A pair of herons stands in shallow water during rainfall, their long necks curved in elegant posture as one bird holds a small fish in its beak. The composition employs the muted palette and delicate linework characteristic of Japanese woodblock printing, with soft grays, whites, and blacks set against a textured cream ground that evokes aged paper. At home in a serene study or gallery space celebrating East Asian artistic traditions. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
