Description
A dense grid of hand-drawn X's and O's fills the composition in black ink on a white ground, creating an all-over pattern that reads as both playful and meditative. The informal, slightly irregular letterforms suggest the repetitive gesture of marking, while the alternating characters evoke the tic-tac-toe game or the universal symbols for hugs and kisses rendered raw and unpolished. At home in a child's room, a creative workspace, or anywhere you want graphic simplicity with warmth. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
