Description

Colorful wildflowers and botanical elements fill a soft duck egg blue ground, their stems and blooms rendered in warm yellows, deep reds, pinks, and purples. Hummingbirds and bees animate the composition with movement and life, scattered throughout the garden scene in a detailed, hand-illustrated style that balances delicate naturalism with decorative pattern. Made to order from soft micro-twill and cut by hand, insert included. Real art for the spaces you actually use, not store-shelf filler.

About The Artist

Hi, I'm Cecilia, a Sydney-based surface designer and artist with a background in fine arts. My work is inspired by the Golden Age of Illustration, ancient Chinese and Japanese textiles and historical European Chinoiserie, Mid-Century Modern, and contemporary Australian symbolic painters. I am drawn to themes of wonder, storytelling and the beauty of the natural world. I love to explore rich colour palettes, a sense of movement and flow, and decorative illustration.
