Description
A skeletal skull faces forward, crowned with an elaborate feathered headdress rendered in bold black strokes against a weathered cream and gray ground. The composition blends anatomical precision with tribal imagery, creating a memento mori that merges indigenous symbolism with gothic sensibility through expressive line work and tonal contrast. For a gallery wall, a studio space, or anywhere bold historical symbolism resonates. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
