Description
A gilded religious icon of the Virgin Mary sits at the center of an ornate frame adorned with baroque flourishes, surrounded by a symmetrical field of hand-painted Sicilian maiolica tiles in cobalt blue, yellow, and green that feature intricate geometric patterns and citrus motifs. The composition radiates outward from the sacred center, blending spiritual imagery with the warm, earthen palette of traditional Mediterranean ceramics in a rhythmic, jewel-box arrangement. At home in a gallery wall, a kitchen with Mediterranean roots, or a space honoring religious tradition and cultural heritage. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
