Description
A traditional Kurdish woven textile displays an intricate geometric pattern of diamond and square motifs in deep red, cream, yellow, and navy blue across its densely patterned field. The composition radiates outward from a central cream diamond, with smaller colored squares creating a rhythmic, symmetrical artwork framed by ornamental borders that echo the rich heritage of West Persian weaving. Precision-cut from thick, satin-finish paperboard and made to order, in 500 or 1,000 pieces. An afternoon spent building an independent artist's work.
