Description
Two fully bloomed chrysanthemums with layered, ruffled petals in deep red and pink occupy the center of a cream background, their curved stems anchored by deeply lobed green foliage. The composition uses fine line work and careful color gradation in the classical Japanese woodblock tradition, creating dimensional flowers that seem to open toward the viewer with quiet precision. At home in a botanical study, a serene hallway, or a collector's gallery space. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
