Overlapping semicircles in deep burgundy, navy, gold, mauve, and cream ripple across the composition in a rhythmic wave pattern inspired by the traditional Japanese seigaiha motif. The stacked arcs create a mesmerizing, almost textile-like surface that feels both orderly and organic, with warm and cool tones dancing through each undulating row. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
