Description

A progression of musical staffs illustrates the opening notes of John Williams' iconic "Jaws" theme, beginning with sparse whole notes and building through increasingly rapid rhythmic patterns until they dissolve into a sketched shark's jaw at the composition's end. The piece uses simple line-drawn notation against a soft turquoise ground, capturing the tension of the famous two-note motif through visual rhythm rather than sound. Made to order from soft micro-twill and cut by hand, insert included. Real art for the spaces you actually use, not store-shelf filler.

Care

  • Remove the pillow cover using the concealed zipper
  • Wash the cover separately in cold water with gentle detergent
  • Tumble dry on low heat or air dry or lay flat to dry
  • Do not wash the faux down insert; spot clean if necessary.
