Description
A Louisiana heron stands in profile with deep blue plumage, rich brown undertones, and striking yellow facial markings, its long neck curved in elegant repose. Behind the bird, a lush wetland landscape unfolds with palm trees and distant vegetation rendered in muted greens and golds, characteristic of classical natural history illustration. For a naturalist's study, a wildlife enthusiast's sanctuary, or a room celebrating the American South. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
