Description

A golden octopus with undulating tentacles curves through the center of this intricately framed composition, rendered in warm yellows and oranges against a deep black ground. Ornamental borders of florals, geometric patterns, and decorative flourishes in jewel tones surround the figure, creating a richly detailed, symmetrical artwork with a folkloric and mystical quality. Crafted from bamboo and made to order, with a drilled hole so it hangs on the wall as easily as it works on the counter.
