A Central Anatolian kilim displays a bold geometric composition anchored by a rust-red field framed by golden-yellow borders interrupted with deep indigo castle-like motifs. The woven pattern creates a rhythmic, architectural quality with its repeating fortification shapes, evoking the traditional textile heritage of the Konya region through warm earthen tones and precise, angular forms. At home in a bohemian living room or alongside other global textile collections. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
