A richly patterned rug from the Caucasus region displays a bold red field anchored by a central dark navy medallion, surrounded by intricate geometric motifs in jewel tones of blue, green, and cream. The composition is framed by layered borders in warm terracotta and cream, creating a harmonious balance between the saturated central ground and the ornamental frame. Crafted from bamboo and made to order, with a drilled hole so it hangs on the wall as easily as it works on the counter. A kitchen essential carrying an independent artist's work, not a blank block from the big-box aisle.
