A densely patterned antique rug displays a warm rust-red field scattered with dozens of small geometric and floral motifs in cream, blue, and gold throughout its composition. Ornamental borders in contrasting cream and burgundy frame the intricate center, creating a rich, layered aesthetic characteristic of traditional East Turkestan weaving. Precision-cut from thick, satin-finish paperboard and made to order, in 500 or 1,000 pieces. An afternoon spent building an independent artist's work.
