A small dog with a cream and white face gazes directly outward, framed by an explosion of ornamental swirls and spirals rendered in warm browns, golds, and rust tones. The composition mirrors the decorative excess of Art Nouveau, with every inch of the background filled with intricate linework, concentric patterns, and layered organic forms that echo the dog's own curly, textured coat.
