Description

Three kitchen knives rendered in detailed black and white stippled illustration, each blade etched with anatomical skeletal imagery that transforms them into memento mori objects. The composition arranges the knives vertically against a pale ground, their dark handles and patterned blades creating a meditative study on mortality hidden within everyday utility. Crafted from durable canvas-like poly-poplin and made to order, double-stitched with a cotton webbing strap. The everyday haul, from groceries to the beach, carrying an independent artist's work.

About The Artist

My name is Cale, yes kinda like Kale. I'm an artist living in San Francisco. My work deals with portraying the tension between the hyper-masculine looking male with more playful, elegant, and even feminine styles. So while you may see an incredibly chiseled male body, pay attention to the subtleties in the way he is positioned, his hands, or where he is looking.
