Two koi fish swim vertically through a layered wave pattern rendered in fine grey linework, their scales rendered in warm red, gold, blue, and burgundy with bold graphic geometry. The composition balances delicate background detail against the solid, stylized forms of the fish, creating a meditative underwater scene with an Asian-inspired sensibility. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
