A traditional East Caucasian rug displays a rich red ground anchored by a deep blue central medallion, surrounded by intricate geometric motifs and stylized botanical forms rendered in cream, navy, and burgundy. Ornamental borders frame the composition in layers, with each zone densely patterned in the characteristic angular precision of Caucasian weaving traditions. Precision-cut from thick, satin-finish paperboard and made to order, in 500 or 1,000 pieces. An afternoon spent building an independent artist's work.
