A traditional Kurdish prayer rug displays a symmetrical composition with a golden-yellow central field anchored by a deep blue diamond medallion at its apex, surrounded by smaller geometric motifs in jewel tones. The ornate border frames the interior in layers of deep red and cream, filled with intricate repeating patterns and ornamental details that speak to centuries of weaving tradition. Made to order on soft fabric, artwork on the front and white on the back, sized to layer with your bedding. Art that finishes the bed rather than filling it.
