Description
A traditional Kurdish prayer rug displays a symmetrical composition with a golden-yellow central field anchored by a deep blue diamond medallion at its apex, surrounded by smaller geometric motifs in jewel tones. The ornate border frames the interior in layers of deep red and cream, filled with intricate repeating patterns and ornamental details that speak to centuries of weaving tradition. At home in a room devoted to cultural art, travel memories, or mindful reflection. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
